A Length

Set the starting point of the tape measure at the base of the collar on the top edge of the item (at the high point shoulder). Extend the tape to the bottom edge of the garment.

B Width

Position the tape measure's starting point at the seam beneath the sleeve and extend it across the item to the seam under the opposite sleeve.

C Sleeve length

Start measuring from the top of the shoulder seam, continue along the arm to the end of the sleeve.
